The properties in this portfolio are designated for very low income families and have major deferred maintenance issues as well as original construction defects. It was vital to resolve these issues to ensure the properties continued their useful life. The work also needs to provide durability of materials and ease of maintenance. Basis has been working with BHA to obtain ARRA funding for improvements.
